My Spiritual Preparation

As a child growing up on the island of Jamaica, then moving to the big apple [New York City] I was always aware of the presence of spiritual beings. Sometimes I would see them, other times I was just aware of their presence. I never knew why I was able to have this level of perception until September of 1999.

PREPARATION

From a child I was anointed to view,
Spiritual things to me in review

For as I grew my eyes would see,
Things hidden to others but not to me

For I saw spirits in flight,
Heavenly beings that visited in the night

I saw each realm in open display,
From my eye they could not hide their way

I had an awareness that I could not explain,
But that my spirit the Lord did train

To prepare me for a day, One yet to come,
When I was needed to fight, with him as one

It’s his and only his battle it’s true,
But we are His army giving Satan his due

The angels that came, ministered to me,
Told of the great one, the ancient is he

For some that I saw, said they were sent,
To tell me he heard, each word I spent

Others that came, just showed their position,
In his great army, and place of his dominion

I would love to tell of every occasion,
No time for that now, I must end this vision

For He would wish for you to take,
This time a decision to make

To give up your life and all you hold dear,
And turn to him, don’t live in fear

He loves each one, with love so true
He reached with his son to embrace each of you

I stand in a place to tell you it’s true
Your Lord and king, Lives for you!
