The Victor

The thought of Jesus Christ the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah when he ascended he entered the Holy Place of his father and is established forever as the victor. To think that thre is no confrontation, no obstacle, no wapon of the enemy that can destry us. Why? Because He (Jesus) has already won the fight and defeated our enemy.

… Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zech 4:6

… Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 2 Chr 20:15

O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. Ps 98:1

Rev. Dr. Winston Watson

God the spirit, in holiness he dwells
A well of righteousness, never ending swells

Elohim, Jehovah, Adonai some of his names
Declaring his character, establishing his fame

He is majesty; He is Lord, ancient yet new
His power by his word, each life renew

In every situation, beautiful is he,
Telling us he is the rooted tree

Powerful, awesome, can we tell of his might?
Show his great splendor in our fight

Is it our battle? Nay, its his and his alone
For he is the great warrior, on the victors throne
