The Nations

I was brought in a vision above the world and in my view I saw the globe with all its oceans and landmasses. Then I saw from every nation, faces of the people, each nation praising the Lord. This poem was inspired by that experience.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matt 28:16-20

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. Acts 16:9

The Nations
Rev. Dr. Winston Watson

I look at the nations, I hear the great cry
Souls empty, wounded, seeking great Adonai

Dying, weeping, mourning, empty of the Lord
Where is the vessel carrying his word?

We are the people; we are called by his name
To free all the captives and give life again

For whom is this message, for great and for small
It is for you, and meant for all

Paul the Apostle, taught of Jesus Christ
Anointed deliverer, a pearl of great price

Is He your desire? Is your heart open now?
Should your knees be bent and before him bow?

He is from the beginning, He ever shall be,
The lion of the tribe of Judah for eternity
