I look around,
No help to be found

I try to be good,
Giving all I could

I feel my life of no account,
As the years I recount

His peace may be mine, I heard someone say,
If I accept him as Lord today

How can this be, a man like me,
Receive such love so free

But I open my heart, though I don’t understand,
On his word I will stand

O Lord, my Christ, I give you my life,
I give you my all as a sacrifice
