I know that Christmas has spiritual meaning,
And even as children we should be gleaning.

How God our father planned this great event
Sent his son, to live in an earthly tent

So great was this our Savior’s birth,
That angels in heaven sang with mirth.

The son of God is coming to earth,
To show mankind His Father’s worth.

He was born in a simple place,
But filled with God’s undying grace.

Parents chosen before earth’s foundation,
A son to live and bring reconciliation.

So now we come, to celebrate his birth,
A child that came to our earth.

To bring all children, red, yellow and white
To see his Father in a new light.

So come all you who hear,
Let’s celebrate His birth again this year.
